Jacksonville's offense would take the field first and go backwards, losing 18 yards on the first series. The Titans would go right down the field and take an early 7-0 lead. On the touchdown play, Cam Ward would injure his shoulder and be ruled out for the rest of the game. The Jaguars offense would responsd with a touchdown of their own, with Trevor Lawrence going 5/5 for 60 yards and a touchdown pass to tie the game at 7.
Both teams would exchange punts, with the Titans punting a second straight possession to open the second quarter. Trevor Lawrence was once again perfect on another touchdown drive, going 5/5 for 50 yards and a touchdown. Six plays later, Antonio Johnson would intercept Brandon Allen and return it 58 yards for a pick-six, giving the Jaguars a 21-7 lead. The defense would quickly get the offense back on the field after another three-and-out, and they would capitalize, going 71 yards in 9 plays to take a 28-7 lead. On the last three touchdown, Trevor Lawrence drives went 16/16 for 181 yards and three touchdowns.
A turnover on downs would give the Jaguars the ball at the Titans 49-yard line with 3 seconds remaining in the first half. Cam Little would drill a 67-yard field goal to give the Jaguars a 31-7 halftime lead and sole possession of the two longest field goals in NFL history. The first three drives of the quarter would all result in punts before the Jaguars kicked a 52-yard field goal to take a 34-7 lead.
A turnover on downs would give the Jaguars excellent field position, starting at their own 49-yard line. Trevor Lawrence would complete a 23-yard pass to go over 4,000 passing yards for the season before starters would be pulled for the remainder of the game. Nick Mullens and Bhayshul Tuten would finish the drive with a touchdown to take a 41-7 lead. The Titans would miss a 52-yard field goal before the Jaguars would kneel out the game, winning the AFC South for the first time since 2022 and the second most regular season wins in franchise history.
